I need wordpress.com to recognize my ownership of my blog – login isn't working
-
My blog is stylatude.wordpress.com — which I have been having trouble logging into on wordpress.com — I need to hookup my jetpack tools for my self-hosted website at blog.stylatude.com. It appears that wordpress.com does not recognize the email I signed up with – which was (email visible only to moderators and staff) — and so whenever I try to get my password reset, it does not seem to send it to my original address.
Please help. I’m trying to get my jetpack tools set up and can’t do so without getting this cleared up first.
stylatude.wordpress.com is indeed MY site – and I can prove this – through domain ownership, emails, etc.
Please let me know what needs to be done, and why this isn’t working.
Thank you,
Joanne

As a follow up…
In the meantime, I am using stylatudeblog.wordpress.com to login for support – since it won’t let me login using my original account address.
What is even more confusing – I don’t understand why it allows me to login to my self-hosted site but won’t maintain my identity/ownership credentials when I try to connect it with my stylatude.wordpress.com site.
It makes no sense to me :-(…
Help!

This is becoming more problematic as time passes… would like some help, please.
My blog now requires JetPack to run, as it no longer recognizes many of my former plug-ins. But, I can’t JetPack installed because I can’t login to my WordPress account – which is tied to stylatude.wordpress.com
My hands are tied until I can get this resolved.
Anyone have any way of helping me???
