I own a custom URL but the domain name is taken in WORDPRESS

  I own a custom domain name but the wordpress name already taken.

  domain is the-treasury.com

  wordpress.com wouldn’t allow me to use the-treasury.wordpress.com

  I have switched the name servers to WORDPRESS but need to ensure that the domain:

  the-treasury.com is served using the blog at eirnystreasure.wordpress.com

  What additional steps do I need to take?

  You can map the domain to any WordPress.com blog, just follow this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Hello again,

  Oops, I forgot some vital information – I had paid for hosting for eirny.com some time ago and moved that site to another host, asking that all of my WordPress.com upgrades be made available for this new domain. I may be missing something, but my store does not show that I have any upgrades active, nor do they show up when I start the add a new domain process.

  So, how do I get my upgrades back (they weren’t refunded as far as I can tell)? Then I’ll complete mapping the new domain.

  I don’t see any active upgrades on your account. At one point, you did pay to map eirny.com, but that was canceled at your request in february. Beyond that, there were no other upgrades under your account.

  I’ve purchased another upgrade for mapping and will pursue a refund through billing.
