I own a domain – it says it's taken
-
Hello! I own a domain that says that it’s taken. How do I go about proving that *I* am the owner of it, so that I can upgrade and have the .com? and CAN I change it from .wordpress.com to just a .com address? Thank you so much! Lynne
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We cannot assist unless or until you post the URL of this domain here please. It does not matter a feather or a fig what the underlying .wordpress.com blog is when you are domain mapping from a free hosted .wordpress.com blog to a domain URL.

You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the .wordpress.com blog’s dashboard at > Store > My Upgrades.
See here for mapping an existing domain that you already own http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades is where you do the primary blog set up knowing it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.
NOTE: WordPress.com does not provide an email service for domains. See here for adding email http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/

My domain name is http://www.Supportiveorganizing.com. I apologize for not including that. Can I take the steps now or do I need to wait for it to be approved? I apologize for being confused.
