  I own my own domain so why do I need to pay for the $99 to you guys?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You will need to set up Domain Mapping to use your domain with your WordPress.com site:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Using a custom domain with a WordPress.com site has always been a paid upgrade on WordPress.com

  Domain Mapping is included with all of the WordPress.com Plans:

  https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  …this includes the $37 WordPress.com Personal Plan. you do not need the $99 Premium plan just to use a custom domain.
