I paid for .com address, instead of wordpress.com, didn't I?
-
Hi,
I can’t remember the terminology, but I paid extra money so that I could use my domain, fightfungalnailinfections.com instead of using the wordpress extn. What do I do?
Thanks,
Orla

Hello,
You only need to complete a couple more steps to get your domain working. The first is to set your domain’s name servers to the WordPress.com servers. Since you registered your domain with GoDaddy, you’ll have to use their website to change the name servers. They have some instructions on this at their support site:
http://support.godaddy.com/help/article/664/setting-nameservers-for-your-domain-names
The name servers you need to use are the following:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMOnce the name servers have changed (this can take a couple days to take effect), you just have to update your primary domain. You can find instructions for this at the Domains Settings support page:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domains-settings/#changing-your-primary-domain
Let me know if you have any further questions.
