I have put a lot of effort into acekitchensandwardrobes.com.au but WordPress doesn’t support transferring .au websites??

We do not support transfers of .au domains, no, as we are not an accredited domain registrar for that domain extension.
If you want to use a .au domain with a WordPress.com site, you can leave it registered at your current provider, and then connect it to your site using our domain mapping option instead:
