    I received an email stating I made a payment. I did not authorize an automatic payment to renew my domain. I don’t want the domain anymore…. Why was I not notified this was going to happen?

    Hi there!

    I’m sorry you didn’t receive our emails about the auto renewal of your Domain Mapping upgrade. We send these emails to the address listed here:

    https://wordpress.com/settings/account/

    We send several emails generally around 60, 30, 15, and 1 day before the renewal happens. Can you check your Spam folder? And, if your emails get forwarded from the listed address to another address, you should check the spam folder of the listed address as well because any messages marked as spam won’t be forwarded.

    Auto Renew is disabled now because the card connected to the upgrade will expire before the next renewal. If you’d like me to refund your renewal, just let me know!

    Sorry I have not received those previous emails. I rarely use that email address so yes it might be in the spam folder. I did not want to renew this domain. I would definitely appreciate a refund… Thank You for your fast response and assistance.

    I’ve issued that refund for you. Please note that it can take up to a week for the refund to appear on your statement. Your Domain Mapping upgrade for fartoogrand.com will expire on August 14, 2014.

    If you’re still using your WordPress.com account, I would suggest updating your email address in case we need to contact you about your account again.
