I see only three posts on my main page instead of the 10 that I have in my settings

  Hello, based on my settings in writing/content I should be seeing 10 posts on my landing page but instead I see only three. Did I do something wrong on my home page? Any help is appreciated.

  Hi,
  I figured it out. I went in the blog block edit side bar and there was a ‘number of items’ showing there, which was set at 3 by default, and it was evidently overrunning the general preferences. Not sure what the general preferences control then….
  Anyways the site is paintingnotes.art.blog

  Ah, okay. Those settings don’t apply to the blog posts block if you add it to a static front page. Those settings only apply to the actual posts page of the site, if you have one assigned.

  For the blog posts block you need to control it from the block settings, as you’ve discovered.
