  Hi there,

  Yep, that’s normal! Any website on WordPress.com can be turned into a regular, static website or a blog. You can turn your blog into a website by changing the site’s front page.

  We also have a guide for Creating Your WordPress.com Site. (That guide was designed for users with the WordPress.com Business plan, but most of the tips also apply to users with the WordPress.com Premium plan like you have.)
