I think I paid the $18 a year in a panic, maybe didn't need it? Tried to cancel and wasn't

  I just signed up, have no idea what i’m doing and paid the $18 in a bit of a panic I think.
  I don’t think I need that and tried to cancel but couldn’t. I want my blog to be called ‘seedy librarian’ and now i think that if that is my user name, it would be called that. do i have to pay the $18 a year?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Also, I’d be happy to cancel seedylibrarian.com and refund the associated charge.

  Before I proceed, there are a few points I need to cover.

  If we cancel your domain, it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and we can’t guarantee that your domain will be available to you again, once canceled.

  If you want to keep using your domain, but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can move the domain to another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > Domains, at the bottom of the page.
