I want a deleted domain

  The domain name that I would like to purchase was previously deleted by its original author. I would really like to use this domain name – lifebeyondgluten.com – but I cannot purchase it because the wordpress domain is still unavailable. If the original authors are not using it, I find it odd that I cannot purchase it for myself.

  Any way I can use and/or buy this domain name??

  Are you trying to get lifebeyondgluten.com or lifebeyondgluten.wordpress.com?

  lifebeyondgluten.com appears to be available to register. lifebeyondgluten.wordpress.com is not available.

  I would like both – I want wordpress to host my domain, so I don’t know how to purchase lifebeyondgluten.com without also creating lifebeyondgluten.wordpress.com

  When I purchased my current domain, I did it as an extension of my .wordpress.com domain — does wordpress have a way to go straight to buying the domain without first creating a wordpress-hosted version?

  First, do you want to have lifebeyondgluten.com point to your existing http://enlightenedbeyondgluten.wordpress.com/ site? Or do you want it pointing to a new WordPress.com site?
