I purchased Diythemes Thesis software and set it up per their instructions and I don’t see Thesis as a choice for my theme? What am I doing wrong?

Themes can’t be uploaded to WordPress.com. That’s a feature of self-hosted blogs through WordPress.org. (We have more information about the differences between the two here: WordPress.com and WordPress.org) You can find out more about customizing your blog’s appearance here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/
On WordPress.com we offer over 210 themes, both free themes and premium themes created by leading theme companies. You can view all of our themes under Appearances > Themes in your dashboard, and filter them by specific criteria with the Feature Filter.

Thanks for telling me the difference. So what do I do now? I have paid already on the WordPress.com site. I really want to use the software I purchased. Can I get a refund or move my acct over to the WordPress.org site. Any suggestions? I am so sorry for this error on my part. Any help would be appreciated.

If you’d like to set up a self-hosted WordPress site, you’re welcome to cancel your WordPress.com upgrade for a full refund. You can do that under Store > My Upgrades in your dashboard, using the Cancel and Refund link there. If you’d like, I can help you with that — just let me know.
