I want my account COMPLETELY deleted. Why isn't this possible?!

  I can’t even get the profile picture to delete. WordPress has been a confusing and terrible experience and I just want it gone! All of it, not just the blog and the content!

  Usernames cannot be deleted, only deactivated by deleting you from them. You can do this on your own with a throwaway email address and a super strong password you will not remember. You will essentially be locking yourself out of the account permanently, and deleting yourself from it.

  Otherwise, you can simply block all emails and leave the account dormant in case you may want to use this name later.
