I want to close my account and my domain

    Can you please help me close my account and domain? Specifically, I’m trying to close the account for fitandgrit.com. I contacted someone before regarding closing this account, but it looks like I just got charged again.

    Hi there,

    For security reasons only someone logged into an account can close it – we cannot close an account on your behalf or at your request under any circumstances. A domain can also only be closed by the account that owns it.

    And it looks like fitandgrit.com belongs to a completely different WordPress.com account than the one you used to post this forum thread.

    Please log out of the melanieannschmid account and log back in as the username you used to buy that domain. Once you’re logged into the correct account you can cancel the upgrades for a full refund (as you’re still within the 96-hour refund period for domains) at https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/

    If you also want to close the account completely, you can then do that from https://wordpress.com/me/account/
