I want to delete account but not the website attachted.
-
I have two different emails attached to one site. I want to delete the first email: (email visible only to moderators and staff) , that way there is only one email attached to the site. But this is saying if I delete that first email, then the whole website will be deleted.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, the only email attached to a site is the one used by the account that registered it here on WordPressdotcom. Any other account are users, even if they have Admin roles.
Can you explain a little more about what your end goal is here? Thanks.

I understand what your saying. The problem I’m having is I want to delete that email that I used to register the website on wp. And I’m trying to delete it using the second email. But it won’t work, I now know it’s because the second email is just a user(even though I made it an admin). Is there any way to make the first email a user, that way I can finnaly delete it without having to delete the whole site? I just want to delete the first email.
Thanks -
By the way the first DBillups22 is the first email, the one I’m writing with now is the second.

Hello again, Changing email address for an account and deleting an account are two different things so I’ll outline both here.
If you want to change the email address on account A to the one that is being used on account B, you can first change and confirm the email address on account B https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/
If you want to entirely delete account A (the site owner), you would need to first transfer ownership of the site from account A to account B. Here’s how you can do that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/ Once you confirm the site transfer to account B, you can delete account A.
Make sure you are logged in with the correct account when doing so.
Let us know how that goes.
