I want to delete old comments

  I want to delete old comments Over 6 years ago I read and commented on a blog that I no longer wish to be associated with. That blog is now deleted in its entirety, however, some of my comments on it still show up on my account, and of I click through, I can still read the blog, even though the original blog is gone.
  If I cannot resolve this problem I will not be able to use WordPress again, or comment on anything, because it may lead to this blog. Please can someone advise me?

  You cannot delete comments you made on someone else’s blog years ago.

  No one but you has access to those comments, particularly since the blog is deleted so if you’re worried other people might associate them with you, your worry is unfounded.

  Ok thanks. That’s reassuring.
  Is there a way I can see what other people see when they look at my public profile? It doesn’t have links to any of my history?

  Also, can you tell me this… although the blog is deleted, I can still see the posts via my comments. The author of that blog (it was written by a friend) is concerned that people can still see it. I assume only people who commented on it can see it, no one else?
  Is there a reason that when blogs are deleted they’re still available to people who commented on them? Surely everything should disappear.

  Since I can’t see it, I’m going to make an educated guess that you’re looking at a cached version of the site. Try http://raincoastermedia.com/2012/05/01/the-cookie-dance/ and see if the comments still show up.

  Thank you. I tried that already, and it doesn’t make a difference.

  Here is how I am accessing it.
  When I click on ‘comments I’ve made’ on my ‘reader’ page I see this

  If I click on the title of the blog on that page, I get this pop up showing the whole blog (if I scroll down)
