I want to empty/delete/clean out my old blog at https://stylatude.wordpress.com/. Thanks. Note: Ignore the link stated / attached referring to gallery.madebyjoanne.com — that’s an old link and is not related. It’s on my site as a reference and I’m trying to delete that link.

The blog at https://stylatude.wordpress.com/ is owned by a different WordPress.com user, not your account stylatude1. You’ll need to log in to the account that owns the blog to manage or empty it.
If you don’t remember the login details for that blog, please follow the steps in our Account Recovery guide for more assistance regaining access to it.

I think there might be a misunderstanding – sorry! I’m definitely the owner and can pull up everything – not a problem getting into it so I don’t need help with that. The page on my admin has some links I’m trying to remove – and the opening of the page (the odd index page I posted about a youtube video a few years ago – is stuck there – I can’t seem to recover THAT page. Two different elements of my site that I can’t seem to remove.
I was trying to locate assistance and came across the discussion board, and noticed others having similar problems – And it appears that this is the only way to resolve it – To ask a staff member of WordPress to clean it out for them.
Can you please help me with this? Or see if I need to contact someone else?
I’ve been trying to do this for years, but didn’t know that I could contact WordPress to do it.
Thanks in advance, and for your response. But, I’ve already tried the advice you gave.
Again, sorry about the misunderstanding. Just frustrated.

Will you provide a screenshot for Staff please? I’ll tag this thread for their attention. You can use http://snag.gy/ to share screenshots and link to them here. If you use the WordPress.com guide for screenshots http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/ you can and upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it.

There’s no link between your username stylatude1 and the blog at https://stylatude.wordpress.com/. If you’re able to log in to that blog’s dashboard, it’s through a different WordPress.com account and we’ll need to hear from that account (or the email linked to that account) before making any changes to it.
If you are logged in to that other account that can access that WordPress.com site’s dashboard, you can either reply here from that account/username or contact us directly from that account to request help emptying it. :) Until we hear from that account, though, staff can’t make any changes to that blog.

All I’m trying to do is clean out my old site – Stylatude. I closed it on WordPress long ago, and then tried to link the two, and that’s when I created stylatude1.
I have a wordpress blog on http://blog.stylatude.com. I simply want to clean up what I’ve got on the wordpress site – stylatude.wordpress.com.
Here are screenshots of what I’m trying to clean up and remove — the account with the madebyjoanne sites is on stylatude1. I can’t seem to remove these links, so I just put them in “hidden” mode. The other screenshot is from stylatude.wordpress.com – I have been trying to edit the page ever since and can never get into log into my old site. It always redirects me to stylatude1, even though my login was the same back then.
On my links page, both sites are old and no longer exist. My blog still exists at http://blog.stylatude.com/

While you are logged in to WordPress.com with the username stylatude1, you won’t be able to access the dashboard for https://stylatude.wordpress.com/. That blog at https://stylatude.wordpress.com/ is linked to a different WordPress.com account/username, so you will need to log in to WordPress.com with the account/username that owns the blog (not stylatude1).
If you don’t have the login details for that account/username, please follow the steps in our Account Recovery guide to get access to it. There’s nothing more I can do to help with it in the forums here.
