  i have a domaine ( prog4ar.com )
  and
  i want to link it with my blog ( prog4ar.wordpress.com )
  to be :
  http://www.prog4ar.com ( my blog )

  so how i can do this
  i’ve buy this domain from another site
  so i want to link it
  what should i do

  i’ve buy a domaine from (algerie-hosting.com)
  i’ve create a blog in (wordpress.com)
  i want to link this domaine with my blog (prog4ar.wordpress.com)
  but in this page
  http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

  wordpress tell me that if i want a domaine to my blog i have to pay 12$
  if i already have a domaine i can make my blog as a subdomain

  so:
  i want to link my domaine with my blog without pay 12$ to wordpress because i have a domaine and not link it as a subdomain

  you have a domaine, (for example: http://www.chrisrudzki.com) you buy it from another site (for example: http://www.getadomaine.com)

  and you have a blog in WordPress (for example: chrisrudzki.wordpress.com)

  now you want people to see your blog with your domaine witch you buy it

  without subdomain

  give me the direct page which you will use it

  and sorry again for a long long coversation

  finally i’ve got this page
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

  so i will copy this:
  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  and paste it in my domaine Dashboard
  and what else

  when i add my domain under Store -> Domains
  i got this message:

  You can add the domain prog4ar.com to your blog right now. You can use it as your blog address for $12.00 a year.

  WordPress tell me that i want to pay it 12$

  but why should i pay it
  i have my domain

  please Help me

  yes i already own my domain and i want to use the domain mapping

  i’ve used the information in this page

  but i couldn’t link the domain with my blog

  do you can login to my Account to do this by your self

  Could you please walk me through the steps you’re taking?

  You should be able to map your domain by signing into your WordPress.com account, and then visiting this link:

  https://prog4ar.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains

  Simply enter the domain prog4ar.com into the input box, and follow the prompts.

  but i think the problem in WordPress

  look,

  i visit this link:

  It’s not asking to buy the domain, it’s asking you to pay for domain mapping, which is $12/year. You need to pay for domain mapping in order for it to work.

  You have to pay $12 to link it to your blog via Domain Mapping. You are paying for the mapping service, not the domain.

  We do not offer any free options for this.

  Well, if you want a self-hosted blog, then yes.

  If you want to use your WordPress.com, you don’t need space at all. Your blog is here, you just need to map your domain.

  no i want not to map my blog .. because i cant change what i need
  and because the mapping its will be with 12$

  so i’m talking about Selh-Hosted to a new blog (WordPress 3.3)
