I want to only delete one of my two sites, not my WP account!

I have two ‘sites’ i.e. blogs associated with my WP user account. I would like to keep one site and all its posts, and I plan to add more content in future. But I would like to delete the other site, as it has no posts and I do not plan to use it again. How do I do this? When I attempt to do so, it appears I would delete my user account and all content, which I do NOT want to do.
