I want to use WordPress from my server NOT from WordPress.com
-
Hi.
I am not sure how I got to the point where I am using WordPress.com to create and edit my site. I initially installed WordPress to my server via MOJO Marketplace one-click install feature, next thing I realize after all the content creation and uploading of files that I have actually been working on WordPress.com where everything seems to be stored and working here, but when I log in to my file manager via my Host’s CPanel, i see the initial WordPress files installed on the server via the one-click install, but nothing is updated i.e. the work I have put in on the site is not reflected on the server- no new plugins I installed or themes I installed or products added via woocommerce. Everything seems to be done on WordPress.com which is not what I wanted. I wanted to work of my server and perform backups and maintenance myself. Install custom themes. Build my own with PHP and CSS. Install plugins to extend my site’s functionality all by myself without any interaction with WordPress.com.
How can I achieve this without having to start from scratch. I need to transfer the work I have done via WordPress.com to my server asap!
Please help me as I am new to using WordPress.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,
For what site is this? Your account does not own any WordPress.com sites, so if you’re working on a WordPress.com site, it’s not via this account.
For help uploading a locally-installed copy of WordPress to a live server, please contact your hosting provider’s support for the process they recommend. You can also ask in the self-hosted WordPress forums here:
