I was recently added as an administrator to edit a webpage
-
Hi. I am a new admin for a university website.
Our previous graduate student admissions person has left the university and tasked me with the job of removing her information from our website. I understand how to edit information, yet I am unable to find any of the side-bar information and cannot figure out how to access it.
I looked around for a place to click ‘appearance’ and even looked for a widget page, but am having no luck. Any idea where I can access information shown on a page that isn’t available to me in the edit portion of wordpress?
Thank you in advance.

As you only created this WordPress.com account minutes ago you might be asking in the wrong support forum. What is the address of the site you need help with?

So, oddly enough, this is the account I have been using to edit the webpage since I started the job. I don’t know why it didn’t have a linked wordpress account but still has administrative access to the university website. I just sent an email to one of the tech guys, but I am on this page and hoping to make changes to the right bar where the program administrator’s information is. I know what to change it to, but cannot seem to direct myself to it using what wordpress is giving me.
Could it be, as an admin but not the site owner, I don’t have access to it?
