I would like the desktop site to be shown on ipads/mobile, but I dont know how.

Hi,
I am trying to make the desktop site be the one that people see when they go on my site using their phone or iPad. I have both an iPad and Android phone so when I view it my header is distorted and everything is at the both rather than at the sidebar, etc.
I would like to know if there is a way to fix this? I already tried shutting off the mobile version of my theme (Sela) but it just looks horrible. HELP ME PLEASE!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
The theme Sela is designed responsively so that its optimal for viewing on desktop and mobile browsers. There’s no way to disable this feature. Responsively designed sites make your content accessible to all users no matter what their browser size is.
If there’s something specific you don’t like about the mobile design, I could maybe suggest some alternative themes where the mobile design arranges things slightly differently. In general though, a well designed mobile site will not have a vertically split screen to display a sidebar and a content area at the same time since it makes it difficult to read and use.

Thank you for your response! Is there a way to have the CSS for Sela that I could just add in and have that as the mobile CSS?
Also if you could suggest some alternative themes that look just like Sela please let me know!

You can definitely add your own CSS for the mobile theme. You’ll need the Premium plan in order to add custom CSS to your site:
The WordPress.com Premium plan includes the following upgrades:
You can read more about each feature here:
http://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/pro-bundle/
If you’re comfortable with CSS, this is probably the way to go. You’ll need to overwrite all of the mobile-specific theme settings.
If you’re not comfortable with CSS, this is a pretty big undertaking. You may just want to go through our themes and find one that is not responsively designed. We don’t have a filter list for that because being responsively designed is generally a good thing. It optimizes your content for any screen you view it on and reduces the need for zooming and panning on mobile devices, which can be a burden for readers.
Let me know if I can help further!

Maybe you can help me with this other question,
From WordPress. COM to WordPress .ORG, domain problems:
I originally thought wordpress.com and wordpress.org were the same things so I did the 12 day premium trail. I only used it for about two days until I canceled it because I realized the difference. I used the domain name determinedlatina.com and now that I am trying to register for self hosting, it doesn’t let me. Is there a way for the domain to be released? How long until I have to wait until it is released? I don’t want to use .org or .net, etc. Please help, this is super inconvenient. The blog I need help with is determinedlatina.wordpress.com.
—I got this response: Hi there,
When you cancel a domain name, it can take up to several weeks for the domain name to be released by our domain registrar. There’s also no guarantee that the domain name will be available for you to register again.
If you’d like, you can pay for the domain here at WordPress.com and we can try to recover it for you right away (so you don’t have to wait for it to be released). You can then point the domain to your WordPress.org host to use it there.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that!—
But now I want to know if I can do this ASAP!!!!! but no one is replying to me.

It looks like Rachel responded to you in your other thread. Follow up with her about the domain and she can get everything straightened out. :)
