I would like to change my Facebook link to publish articles on my official page

    Hi

As writers, we want to publicize our content on Facebook as well. Currently, if I am activating the Facebook sharing link, all the posts are getting published automatically on my personal FB page [ Ref URL : https://www.facebook.com/umadaga ] . This is not acceptable as it is cluttering my FB wall and iam not being able to connect with the targeted audience.

Now, I wish to change this FB link to my official page [Ref URL : https://www.facebook.com/digicontentwriters ] so that all my work gets seen by the people visiting that page and make further sharing possible.

    Please help!

    Thanks and regards~!

I’m having the same problem. Publicize is ONLY allowing me to connect to my profile, when the documentation is saying it can connect to a profile or a page. Sounds like a bug with Publicize to me.

  • Hello folks, I’ve just tested this on my own account and I do see an option to publish to my active pages.

I also noticed https://www.facebook.com/digicontentwriters is not active as far as can tell.

    Can you try this?

    – Go to https://www.facebook.com/bookmarks/pages

    – Click on the page you want to publish to

    – Make sure the page you want to publish to is active

    – Then in another tab, go back to wordpress.com/sharing

    – Disconnect Facebook

    – Reconnect it

    – See if your pages show up now

Thanks, SuperNovia. In my case the page was already published. That said, your answer gave me an idea that worked. I unpublished my page and then re-published it. After doing that, Publicize worked!

I hope DigitalContent sees a similar fix. Thanks again!

  • Oh good, I’m glad that did the trick. Thanks for the update!
