  apparently you can write in and request that a plug in be considered for wordpress.com

  I would like to be able to choose the copywrite option for general images and photographs – I have found a plugin on wordpress.org that would do this and would like you to consider it for wordpress.com – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-copyright-protection/

  I have also a request for a plugin to be available for wordpress.com. To protect my blog with a password, the plugin below will be needed (or another one with the same properties.
