i would like to take control of my blog again

    My blog has been taken by someone else. Every thing is in chinese, not in French anymore. Maybe because I forgot to buy the domain name. what can I do?

    Not renewing the domain name can be a problem –

    Try resetting your domain

    Dashboard >> Store >> My Domains >> Set Primary to epstie.wordpress.com

    See when the dates for your domain mapping were for

    Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades – or
    Dashboard >> Store >> Billing History –

    the domain mapping might be expired – I am guessing you mapped the domain a year ago – i can’t tell when the domain name was registered or it’s history – Registered with WordPress.COM some time back?

    To undo the domain mapping so visitors can stay on your site

    Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades >> Then cancel the Domain Mapping (it is probably lapsed or close to it) – that should get your base epstie.wordpress.com/ to display –

    I will also flag this for the staff to review your account if you want to wait for them before you cancel the mapping –

    Sorry for the trouble!

    Your blog’s primary domain didn’t revert to http://epstie.wordpress.com/ when the domain mapping expired.

    I have taken care of that for you now.
