Hi there, I loaded the site http://buildingpittsburgh.wordpress.com/ in Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer 10, and Internet Explorer 9, and did not see any errors. Is that the site you’re referring to?
If so, would you mind letting me know in what browser and version folks are seeing this error? If they’re not sure, they can visit this page and copy what it says under Web Browser:
http://supportdetails.com/As well as providing browser information, if you wouldn’t mind providing a screenshot of the error, it would be very helpful for troubleshooting.
Here’s a guide on how to make a screenshot, if you’re not sure: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/
Be sure to take a screenshot of the entire browser window so I can see what browser it is.
You can upload the screenshot in your Media Library so I can see it. Thanks for your help!

The problems come when coming from an external link or from another site. Try clicking on the blog button at http://www.talltimbergroup.com.
This is a recent problem – within a week or so.
Screen shot is saved in the media library. I’m using IE10 but others have checked from Chrome, IE8 & Firefox. Thanks

Thanks very much for clarifying. That link leads to this site:
http://buildingpittsburgh.com/
That site isn’t hosted here on WordPress.com, it’s a self-hosted site, using the free software from WordPress.org.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.
http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/It looks like there’s a problem with your WordPress installation. You may want to ask for help in the WordPress.org support forum:
You could also try asking your host SingleHop: http://www.singlehop.com/
Just let me know if you have any other questions.

This sounds like I have it 100% backwards. I have never heard of SingleHop & do not pay them anything. How can I migrate this blog over to wordpress.com?
-
I’d be happy to help clear this up.
Do you own the domain buildingpittsburgh.com, which is the domain your “blog” link is pointing to?
This is the information on file in the domain database, is this you?

Yes, that is me. I’ve gone to NS & pointed the domain to wordpress.com. Do I need to wait until that processes to update my blog to map that domain or should I do it now? Will NS notify me when they have processed the change?
Thanks
-
You can go ahead and map the domain anytime – it will only take effect once the name servers have propagated (finished updating across the Internet.) That can take anywhere from a few minutes to 72 hours, depending on the registrar and the frequency of domain database (whois) updating at Internet Service Providers around the world.
Will NS notify me when they have processed the change?
I don’t know if that’s their policy or not – they would be able to tell you. Registrars don’t typically send out a notification for that, but you’ll know if the name servers have been updated when you see them listed in your domain record.

My pleasure. It looks like your domain is now bringing up your WordPress.com site – I can see it here:
http://buildingpittsburgh.com/
If you don’t see it yet, it may just be a matter of time until your ISP updates its DNS cache, or you could try clearing your browser’s cache.
Just let us know if you need anything else.
