I'd like to add email forwarding to a domain that already has email hosting

    With my site mapping in place, I am no longer receiving emails. I’d like to have email forwarding through wordpress instead of the 3rd party client. Is that possible? If not I need to remove this domain ASAP as I have important emails that are missing.

    Hi there!

    You can definitely use our email forwarding services instead of email hosting. However, in order to do this, you’ll need your name servers to be the following:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

    If you don’t know how to do this, you’ll need to contact your registrar for assistance.

    Once that’s set up, head over to Store > My Domains. Select Edit Domain and then Edit DNS. Then just remove any MX records listed there by clicking on the trash can icon next to them and save your changes.

    You may need to refresh the page before the email panel becomes active again.
