I’d like to blog anonymosly

    Hi,
    I’m a journalist and I’d like to blog anonymously. I’ve read conflicting reports that WordPress accepts bitcoin so that I can customise a blog, but this doesn’t appear listed on ‘payment methods’. How can I blog anonymously without using the free service? Please advise.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi –

    This is a good question. I think the best way to be truly anonymous would be to set up an alias account and register your site that way. Continue blogging from that account only. If you register a domain through us, it will automatically have privacy protection enabled there.

    Hi,
    Thanks for getting back to me.
    I’m still not clear on whether you actually accept Bitcoin for me to register a domian name and use other services.
    Id feel more confident doing this – what if I write something controversial and then wordpress is pressured to disclose my payment details?
    Please advise!
