I'd like to use a blog address previously owned by another user

    WordPress tells me it’s been taken, but this is what I get when browsing to it:

    ADDRESS.wordpress.com is no longer available.
    The authors have deleted this site.

    So, is there any chance I can obtain this name for a new blog?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    No, URLs are not recycled here. If you want you can register an underlying whatever.wordpress.com URL and get a custom domain to make it whateveryoulike.com for $18 a year for domain and mapping.
