IDEA: Someone turn off the damn lights!

I pray every day and night for an on/off switch which turns off light on the post editor, which effectively darkens everything on the page except the the post title and editor, similar to HULU’s lower/raise lights.

All functions on the editing page could still be usable but much less visually intrusive. I would even settle for an old fashion pull chain if a switch is too expensive! Instead I am overwhelmed with bright stuff that is less important at the moment when I am engaged in my attempts to squeeze out the last remaining drops of verbal and visual creativity which a respectable day job and the daily commute seem to aid in the evaporation of. I have it on good authority that this is better than snake oil.

    Can I get an amen?

There is the brightness control on your monitor.

Shtyen: Agreed. Frustrated by blogger’s block, I once ended up slapping sticky notes onto my screen so that everything I didn’t need was blocked.

“Please take responsibility for what you can control. Turn down the brightness control on your compyter monitor and preserve your eyesight and sanity,” says this visually challenged blogger.
