IE and Password protected site

  Hi everyone …

  just a quick question. Are there any known problems when using a passort protected Site and the IE 6 or 7?

  Cause I can type in a password at my block.
  With Mozilla: it works fine
  With IE 6: I does not work, the browser does not except the passwort …
