.ie domain transfer/redirect

  Hi guys,

  I have the http://www.polyphony.ie domain name and I’d like to have it as my wordpress site URL – how do I do this?

  Simply log into your WordPress.com site’s dashboard, click on Store–>Domains, enter polyphony.ie in the “add a domain” box and click the “add domain” button. Then simply follow the instructions that appear to map that domain to your WordPress.com site.

  I’ve mapped the new domain name, changed the DNS but it’s still not loading when I type in the new domain name. The old hosting site comes up or it doesn’t load at all. Have I done something wrong or does it just take time?

  I am seeing http://polyphony.ie/ point correctly to your WordPress.com site.

  It can take 24-48 hours for domain/DNS changes to propagate throughout the internet. It typically happens faster than that, but it really depends on your ISPs update frequency. If you are still not seeing the correct site appear after 48 hours has elapsed, please contact me again.
