If i change my wordpress domain, do i have to update the DNS on my provider?

    If I change the name of wordpress domain, say 123.wordpress.com to 123.com, but my 123.com address is hosted by register.com or another provider, will i have to remap the DNS on register.com and wordpress or will update automatically?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    You will have to go to your registrar and update the nameservers to ours:

    • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
