If I use my own domain

If I use my own domain and use wp as my editor. Can I use ADSENSE? Is it just for wp.com accounts or for the software itself?
-
No, it is only available for those with the VIP upgrade, which costs over $200 per month.
-
If you download the free software from WordPress.org and find hosting, you can run an independent WordPress blog and that works much the same as those at WP.com, but has no restrictions on content at all.

So I could add amazon and adsense on my own domain Using WordPress? . You confused me.
I want the format since I dont know css. Im trying to turn my blog into a .com
And I like the wordpress layout except the inability to add html, java ads.Yeah I read about the vip. Too expensive.
-
No. Here are the differences between the different kinds of WordPress:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=3700&replies=1You could add amazon and adsense and any other kinds of ads you like, even PayPerPost, if you had your own WordPress blog hosted somewhere OTHER than WordPress.com. If you stay at WordPress.com and don’t want to buy the ridiculously expensive VIP upgrade, you can get your own domain name with the upgrade, but you cannot have paid ads of any kind. This may or may not change in the future.
If you write a book, though, they’ll let you advertise and sell that on your blog.

Ok, thats my plan. So Im going to use the blog as a practice layout for the page. So as soon as I go live im ready. Do you recomend Godaddy?
All I need to do is find a forum template to go with it.
I like how blogger lets you use ads but I dont see how I could export that and customize it for my site. Probaly can

I don’t deal with external name registars. I think it’s a little cheaper to buy through WordPress.com than other places, actually. I’ve heard horrible, horrible things about GoDaddy, even though they’re very big. Google “Nodaddy” and see what you get.
