If my blog is self hosted now do I have to renew at wordpress.com?

  I got this email:

  My question: I started using wordpress.org and it is run on blue host. My domain name is registered with Wild West Domains. They said call wordpress but I have no clue what to do. I use wordpress.org now but I cannot have my domain expire. How do I renew? Blue host said they can’t receive the transfer b/c it take 7 days. Wild West told me to call you. I don’t know what to do!

  Your domain is still registered at WordPress.com (Wild West Domains is our registrar partner), so you will need to renew it here.

  Going forward, if you do not want to renew through WordPress.com, you can transfer your domain to another registrar using these instructions:

  Transfer a Domain to Another Registrar

  But for the moment, you should log in and go to this URL to renew your domain:

  https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades
