If my domain expires, will I lose access to my blog?

  I’d like to purchase a custom domain name, but I’ll only need it for a few months. After that, I plan to forward it to another site that has a WordPress installation. When my domain expires, will my blog revert to the free WordPress domain? Or will everything be deleted?

  It will revert and all the domain URLs will be broken. It will take 3 – 4 months for Google and Bing to re-index all the content under the .wordpress.com URLs. Anyone who clicks the domain URLs anywhere after the domain expires will experience a 404 (page not found) and will not connect to the content. I don’t recommended purchasing a domain at all unless you are into renewing it annually and retaining it over the long term.
