if i am taking my site from a web developer to wordpress they said they will send me full source code files how would i transfer to word press

The site you’re speaking of would have been built with the open source WordPress software made by the community on WordPress.org. To get that site online, you’ll need to set up a hosting account at a hosting provider like Bluehost.com, and then follow their process to upload the files to your server.
It’s not possible to upload a pre-made WordPress site to our servers on WordPress.com.
