I'm getting multiple duplicate email notifications for my blog.

I’m getting multiple duplicate emails notifications… this is the fourth round of emails today (4 x 44 emails… 88 emails) how do I make this stop? thank you!

Hi there!
I just looked up your email address in our logs. I’m not seeing any duplicate emails. Can you check if these emails are coming to the same exact email address or if maybe you subscribed to your site with an additional email address?

The emails are coming in to the email I have linked to the blog. I have an alternate email address, which I don’t want to post in the forum, however I’m not subscribed to my blog via that email.

All email addresses are redacted from the public forums, so if you post your full email address only I will be able to see it. I’d love to look up that email address just to make sure it isn’t in our system any where.
Can you also check that none of the email addresses listed here are yours:
Are you getting duplicate emails from any of the other sites you’re subscribed to? And are you getting duplicate emails about comments and/or likes? Or just new posts?

Hi, OK, I can confirm that none of the emails on the link below are my email addresses. I can also confirm that all the emails that keep duplicating are only from WordPress — All WordPress emails. So I’m receiving duplicates of people responding to my blog and I’m getting duplicates of the blogs I follow. (Currently I’m sitting at 235 unopened WordPress emails, you can likely double that for the number of emails I’ve received from wordpress inthe last few days. I even have three copies of the email you sent me below. I do not receive duplicates of emails I get directly from other people (friends, colleagues) so I don’t think the issue relies with my service provider.

Oh dear… I think this is an outlook.com problem… not a wordpress problem!!! I will contact my service provider. I have my outlook address setup to feed to my desktop MS Outlook program and I think it is continually pulling the emails repeatedly from outlook.com… hold everything, I’ll confirm if that’s the problem so you’re not wasting your time :)

Yes, I seem to have resolved the problem by deleting my email account and reentering it to my outlook 2007. Sorry for wasting your time with this… thanks for your prompt help :)
