I'm having a problem, I keep getting code (?) numbers sent to my phone.

I’m having a problem, I think, with google’s 2-step verification, or something. My cellphone (IPhone) keeps getting continuous numbers being sent to it, and its not only eating up my battery space, but is probably costing something for no good reason. I tried going to accounts.google.com/security to see if I could turn off the said 2-step verification–if that is what’s sending me all those code samples (I guess they are), but NO LUCK. It did not work. I want to stop the numbers being sent for no reason to my phone, please.

Thank you both very much for your time and consideration. I greatly appreciate that. In the end, I simply deleted the app on my iphone. It may have been my machine generating the numbers alone.
Anyway, that’s basically solved. I hope to soon upgrade my blog, and I hope to better correct that picture I had used (didn’t want such a close up shot, and could not crop it). I may need help then. THANKS !!
