I’m having trouble allocating each article to a menu option on my site.

    When I finish typing and article I’m finding it hard to find how I can allocate each article to the specific menu option I wish the article to appear. For example, I have 4 drop down menu option and I want one of my articles to appear in one of those drop down options but not the others.

    Hi @evertonthat2, would you send a link to the site you need help with? I noticed you have a few.

    Generally neither posts nor pages will automatically be added to drop down menus.

    You can set up posts to automatically appear under a category link, just not as drop downs. Or, you can add posts to drop down menus manually, if you’d like. Just note if you add too many, your menu will get unwieldy — especially on mobile.

    I currently have the bio’s of the players but I will have too many bio posts for them to appear like they are currently in the menu. Can you help advise how I can embed them into their respective menu options?

    After reading the original post I do believe that categories linked in to the site menu are the way to go. You’ll designate a “blog” page where your posts are going to be published – that page, however, does not need to be linked on to the live site. It can just live in the back end.

    With this option, when a visitor comes, they’ll click on category 1 and see only those posts. They would not see any category 2,3 or 4 posts. Does that makes sense?
