I'm learning and i need help with pages

    Hi! i’m learning, and i’m making a dummie site. There are two things that are driving me nuts because i cant solve them.

      My first issue is that i don’t know where to find the page i’ve been editing all this time, i just installed a theme and edited it, now i go to [dashboard > pages > all pages] but none of them are my homepage, home is mydomain.com/home/ but there is no trace of a page which link is just “Mydomain.com”

      My second issue is the following, on my site, at the bottom below the map there is a legend that says “Nothing Found Ready to publish your first post? Get started here.” and it’s non editable by my theme editor. How can i make that go away?

    I’ve been stuck with this two problems for the last two days, i’m guess i might be doing something fundamentally wrong with my site and it’s causing these issues.

    Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Hostgator.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
