I'm ready to assign my own my domain AFTER I paid the $60 subscription

  Hi, I am the webmaster for https://johnkimmelflorist.wordpress.com/. John Kimmel already paid $60 for the WordPress subscription. We are now ready to assign the domain name johnkimmelflorist.com (eliminating the “WordPress” part of the domain name.) When I try to do that, it asks me to pay $60 again. How can I assign the new domain name without paying a second time?

  There are no upgrades in our system associated with the site, https://johnkimmelflorist.wordpress.com/

  I do see a Personal Plan in your account for another site, johnkimmeldotflorist.wordpress.com, and the free domain in that plan has already been used for the domain, johnkimmel.florist, purchased on 31 May along with the plan.

  If you want to add a custom domain for https://johnkimmelflorist.wordpress.com/ as well, you’ll need to purchase a plan for that site also.
