I'm really stuck here without my login info.

    Hi,

I’m really hoping you can help me out here.

After waking up from a coma in 2007, with a severe traumatic brain injury, struggling for years and at a dead end I decided to start travelling in 2010.
I kept blog of my wonders, wonderings and ponderings and in early 2011 I fell in love, got married and became a father. I forgot all about the blog.
Last year I released a book here in Belgium and I’m currently working on an American version with a local editor.

When I checked the blog to reread a piece I was stunned to see over 600 people had subscribed to it. So I tried to log in, but of course I don’t have access to my email address from back then ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) anymore and I was not good at record keeping at the time, nor did I purchase any upgrades. As such, I DO NOT have a transaction ID or any of the things I was asked for when trying to recover my password.
I can provide you with detailed information, copies of the pictures which I uploaded to some posts etc. I wrote the thing, I took the pictures etc.

Could you please advise me on how to regain access to my account?
Apart from gaining access to the 632 subscribers, these writings really mean a lot to me. They detail my (re)discovering of reality, myself and humanity after recovering from the accident which permanently shaped my life.
    The url is roon1.wordpress.com

    Thank you, sincerely

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi jeroen175,

In order recover the site, you will need to provide proof of ownership. This can be the information on the Account Recovery form or access to the account email address. Without either of these things, we won’t be able to help you recover the site for security reasons.

I can provide you with detailed information, copies of the pictures which I uploaded to some posts etc. I wrote the thing, I took the pictures etc.

Copies of images and posts are public information so I’m afraid we won’t be able to accept them as proof of ownership.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks!

    Hi jeroen175,

PS: I never wrote this “The blog I need help with is take2.cc.”

I see, your original post mentioned a different site :) take2.cc a self hosted WordPress.org site, connected to your WordPress.com account with the Jetpack plugin.

We are only able to help with access WordPress.com sites hosted on our own servers. take2.cc appears to be hosted with HostGator so I recommend contacting them for more advice.

    Best of luck!

    Dear friends,
Please help me I’m desperate to recover my access to website.

My name is Anna Greiner. I’m the owner of webpage https://ognivo.wordpress.com I’m asking you to recover the access. It’s been long time ago when I’ve started it and I had Russian phone number and Russian e-mail which is lost as I moved to Germany. As you can see the blog used as official webpage of a kid’s center for Russian kids living in Germany. In the page “Kontact” you will find all the information about me and the kids center “Ognivo” address. In page https://ognivo.wordpress.com/2012/03/11/impressum/ you will also can find the Individual Tax-payer Number as well.
I understand that it’s public information which everybody can see. But it’s also correct information including the mobile phone which is also mine (+496111667440). As a prove I can send you my Passport or ID copy with the premiss rent agreement with can prove that Address of the kid’s center “Ognivo” is correct: 65185 Wiesbaden, Untere Albrechtstraße 14. Or any other information you may consider as a prove.
Unfortunately I’m not very mature webpages creator, it was my first try and successful with wordpress! I haven’t done any backups until I changed password before the vacation and can’t get the access at all. I wrote it down o the paper but it wasn’t fit after all. If it may help the user name was: teremok8 and the password: urSCHumGorod.
Please help me to recover the access to my web page! We are going to move to a bigger premisses and can’t renew the information for our clients.

I’ve already tried the account recovery from. But I don’t have the URL or payment history. But I believe that it’s possible to do something to recover such public and official account as mine.

Thank you for your answer in advance.
    Yours faithfully,
    Anna Greiner.

@gemmacevans I’m not referring to take2.cc, that’s my company website.
I only wrote that line because I realized this account is connected to that website.

Are you telling me there is no way I can regain access to roon1.wordpress.com?

  • Unknown's avatar

How about if I provide unpublished pictures taken at the very scenes described and clearly taken at the same location, with the same people, in the same weather?

Or medical records describing the TBI (traumatic brain injury) which I describe in the very first post? (https://roon1.wordpress.com/2010/02/28/hello-world/)

Or testimonials from the people on the pictures, described in the posts?

… Maybe you want to help me out here

    Thank you!

Oh sorry, I read that as you mean’t to include the information :)

… Maybe you want to help me out here

I do want to help you access the site but I can only accept certain pieces of information as proof of ownership. I appreciate you’ve been through a difficult time but I’m unable to help you regain access without that information.

How about the things I’ve listed. Can they not be viewed as evidence?

  • Unknown's avatar

The content you listed can’t be accepted as that information is publicly available — anyone can access it. We can only accept the proof of ownership information on the Account Recovery form:

    Recover Your Account

The information listed there is something only you (the owner of the site) would have access to.

No-one but the author of these posts could have access to all three of these things now, don’t you think so?

For security reasons, we can only accept the information I’ve mentioned in previous replies. If you have that information we can help, but without I’m afraid we won’t be able to.
