I'm trying to create a review site – is WordPress good for that?

  I’m trying to create a site that is for reviews on a certain product… With WordPress will I have to make only a blog format website?

  I’m really new to this so sorry if it seems like a silly question.

  I just want one page where I could have like a drop-down list of each review you would want to go to.. Real simple.

  Also, can I add landing pages on my wordpress site?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Book tour blogs: Blogs that consist primarily of pre-written publicity material, as opposed to original book reviews, for the purpose of promoting books and driving traffic to other promotional and giveaway sites.

  Do you personally make this product? Or are you referring to a mass produced product you wish to promote?

  Okay then. It seems you will need a self hosted wordpress.ORG install instead. Get hosting here http://wordpress.org/hosting/

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
