I'm trying to delete a previous version of wordpress

  I’m trying to delete this version of wordpress as i’m now setting up a blog with Host Gator.
  this error message comes up continuallInstallation Failed
  Error Details
  ‘Installation directory is not empty. Please install to an empty location’ on Host Gator.
  i know i need to get rid of my old wordpress a/c but it wont allow me to delete it….?

  Hi @pmjordanblog, your account here wouldn’t affect that, since it’s talking about files on the server. Can you ask your host why the directory isn’t empty?
