Im trying to sign up to upgrade but in the info box..email says I can’t use the names that i plan to register domain

  I can’t register won’t let me move past the email..I have my own domain that I’m going to transfer to wordpress

  Hi there,

  Are you speaking of where you have to give a domain contact email?

  You cannot use an email address @ the domain you’re trying to register, no, as that email will not be active yet, or might stop working during a domain transfer. It is also not a good idea to use an email address at a domain for the contact for the same domain, as you won’t be able to receive any notifications about the domain at that address should the domain stop working for any reason.

  Please use a different, valid email address as your domain contact email.
