Image colors off.
-
I have noticed recently that the images I have uploaded do not look the same as the originals in terms of color saturation. The uploaded images are more saturated and darker than the orginals. The color space I normally use is sRGB but I have tried Adobe RGB too and that also looks darker and more saturated. Any ideas? Thank you.

Have you resized the images once you uploaded them? I’ve heard that this can cause problems with both colour and clarity. It’s best to optimize and size them before uploading.

I have done my resizing before the upload. What is weird is that I am using the same procedure I always have but for some reason I am getting a different result now.

Have you tried view things in a different browser? Since I don’t have the original images, I can’t really do a comparison, but I downloaded one of your images and compared it to what was in your blog and they are virtually identical.
By the way, always use sRGB. Adobe RGB will always look worse since it is designed for print, not for the web.
What program do you use to prepare your images?
