Image gallery on home page

  Ideation and intent:

  Should display main image, excerpt of text, and then small image gallery automatically generated below text on the current post. Mine is not automatically generating the small image gallery. It displays fine once you click on the post. I can’t figure it out….please help. Thanks in advance.

  The latest post on your site http://mlshawaii.wordpress.com/2013/05/17/friday-fun-cruiser-in-a-cornfield/ only has one image in the full post, so it would not show the small image gallery on the front page.

  The next latest post http://mlshawaii.wordpress.com/2013/05/16/kings-point-ny-2/ has a number of images in it, but since it is not the latest post, you won’t see that thumbnail gallery under the post. It will only show a featured image from the post and the post title.

  But what is interesting is that you are not seeing those images from Kings Point NY in the special Photo Sidebar. Do you recall how you inserted those images to the post?

  Thanks! I should have clarified that the thumbnail gallery did not show up on my previous posts that contained several pictures (when they were the current post). I’ll add a new current post tonight with several pictures and see what happens.

  I believe the photos from the previous posts are not showing up in the special Photo Sidebar because it only shows photos from the last ten posts, and I don’t have that many yet. It took me a few hours to figure that out from the forums, so I’m hoping that will resolve itself when I get to ten posts (because I really want that photo sidebar).

  Thanks for your help. If you have time to look at it again after I add a new post, I’d really appreciate it.
