Image header in every theme?

  (Sorry for the bad English)
  I’m searching for a new theme to buy for my new domain I just bought. I’m gonna ask to a designer friend to draw me the nicest header image during that time. To make a perfect choice beyond the dozens of themes offered, I will have to choose one that offers me a lot of space to show that beautiful header image, like in the theme Hemingway Reminder. My question is: do I have the possibility for every theme to add a big header image once I’ve paid for it? Or all the demos I can see without header image mean that I cannot add one? Same questions stands for the logos.

  Most free WordPress.com themes have a custom header option, but the size varies from theme to theme. You don’t have to pay for the privilege of using a custom header, and paying for premium theme won’t necessarily ensure the presence of a “big header” option.

  Not necessarily. All available features of a theme may not be demonstrated in a demo. The absence of a header from a demo does not imply that the theme does not have a custom header option.

  @, if you go to the Theme Showcase page and click on the Find a Theme button, you can click on Features and then select “Custom Header” and get a list of all of our themes that support a custom header. Here is the link to that Custom Header listing.

  If you click on a theme to view the information on it, the header image size is typically listed at the bottom of the theme page under Quick Specs, but in some it may be further up in the description.

  We also have over 150 themes that have a Flexible Header feature where you can insert larger headers. Sometimes this flexibility is both height and width, and on some it is just height.
