Image link deleted from a comment.

    I think I saw a thread on this some days ago, but I have had a similar problem and think I know exactly what the problem is……

    If you edit a comment which has an image link in it, and then “Update” the comment then the image link is removed.

    This also happens if you use the IMG button when editing a comment (since the link gets deleted when you Update your comment).

    So, if you add an image as you write a comment then you are OK – provided you dont subsequently edit and update your comment.

    Seems like another WordPress bug……

    I think WP.com once allowed other users inserting images in their comments but then disallowed it, because I used to have 1 image on a user comment that wasn’t posted by me (admin of the blog). It’s gone now. I edited the comment but I didn’t see the image link so I left it be. So it was just deleted? Now only the admin can insert an image in their comments?
